I'm baa...aack!
If you didn't notice, my site was down for over two days. My entire server bit it. I'm still not sure what happened.
The place where I have my host domain registered through was migrating to a new control panel and I'm pretty sure my IPs got screwed up...
However, I also could not ping my IPs. My host, whom I lease a server through and was planning on leaving, gave me a huge discount on my server. That doesn't do my any good, though, when my server is down. No one from support would reply to my tickets that I was submitting. Finally I emailed about 10 random email addresses at the company and submitted a sales ticket for a quote, "server that actually works." I went to dinner with my wife, mother-in-law, and friend of my wife. We then went to get groceries. When we got home about 20 minutes ago, magically my server was working.
Needless to say, I'm behind with reading everyone else's blog. On top of that I had a video editing training on Monday night and all day Tuesday...so I'm really behind.
