And now for something completely different
DivX has release an update to their codec, player, authoring software.
The player is free. As a demo of the updated software, you can download a Star Wars fan film titled: Revelations.
I haven't watched the entire thing yet, but it seems intriguing so far. Interestingly enough, George Lucas seems to have somewhat supported their effort...at least that's what I've read on the internets.
