I hate Keanu Reeves. There I've said it. I haven't watched #3 yet, but I just can't stand him as an actor.
Now that being said, I gave him a chance and saw the original "Matrix" flick. Liked it a lot. My wife loved it.
Went to see #2. Left disappointed. Was hoping they wanted to achieve the effect of you wanting more. I wanted something they didn't give.
Now, I'm reading all these reviews about the final in the trilogy and don't know whether to go or not. I know I'm just gonna be ticked off in the end. If I don't see it, I'll feel left out and if I do see it...I'll feel gypped.
What is a 31 year old, married, white boy supposed to do?

Hi mate... I think the following will help you to decide..
Matrix (Original) - High on theme, but also introduces a new trend of slow paced fast action... so it was something new and cool to watch
Matrix Reloaded - Continuation of the theme which is quite complicated, and the action style is now old. Regular Hollywood release.
Matrix Revolution - Themes are ending, not much on theory, old action and lots of action.
You are 31. You must have seen much action in your life. Save it man. Take your wife to watch something that will make her ove you more. :)
