Sunday Morning
Here I sit in church...this is service three for me. Sermon is progress. We have two on Saturday late afternoon and three on Sunday morning. I am mixing audio for the live and monitor feeds. We also have a mix for video and the overflow rooms.
This post is mainly to test out new features in w.bloggar 3.02 and to test my internet connection from the sound booth.

Truly Thankful
This year I have so much to be thankful for. Wow, where to begin? Soon-to-be daddy, lost 35+ pounds, lots of work, moved to California, Arnold is my Governor, I am happy, keep meeting new cool people, renewing old friendships and did I mention I am going to be a father? I could go on forever.
I know I'm semi-joking about some of that stuff, but really am happy about all of it. Thanksgiving is the time to just contemplate about all that God has given you. No matter what bad things happen, I can guarantee that someone is worse off than you are. Every day, every dollar, every breath is a gift from God. Sometimes I forget that. I hope that this is a reminder to you of all the good things you have.

Corporate raider...
So, I'm working at the first corporate-type job I've ever had. It's only temporary while some details are being worked out for the other job. It different than I expected. I feel pretty good about myself after being there a week. Everything they throw at me, I've been able to finish successfully. It is a little slow paced from what I'm used to, but it will be over before I know it. It's weird to have three magnetic cards for work. One for the parking, one for the elevator and one to get into the office from the elevator. At least I don't have one for the bathroom.

fab seven
Went to Stanley's tonight. Had the turkey meatloaf. It was good, but different from last time.
Kristina was there. Nancy was there. Gretchen was there. Lori, Daniel and Ahmir were there. It was my first time meeting Lori of Lockergnome fame. She was exactly how I pictured her in my head, except for her lower pitched voice.
I was a good boy. Saved half my dinner for tomorrow lunch, drank tea instead of coke and refrained from dessert. Getting close to the final taping for the infomercial, so I need some dramatic weight loss to be infamous in the infomercial circuit...or something.

threat matrix
I hate Keanu Reeves. There I've said it. I haven't watched #3 yet, but I just can't stand him as an actor.
Now that being said, I gave him a chance and saw the original "Matrix" flick. Liked it a lot. My wife loved it.
Went to see #2. Left disappointed. Was hoping they wanted to achieve the effect of you wanting more. I wanted something they didn't give.
Now, I'm reading all these reviews about the final in the trilogy and don't know whether to go or not. I know I'm just gonna be ticked off in the end. If I don't see it, I'll feel left out and if I do see it...I'll feel gypped.
What is a 31 year old, married, white boy supposed to do?

Diet update
As of today, I have officially lost over 30 pounds on the 6 Week Body Makeover. Two weeks to go.
On a negative note, the pants I bought a month ago for work do not fit. :)
