Jazz at La Ve Lee
Today was frustrating with the whole car situation, but the evening made it better. A friend was singing back-up for someone at La Ve Lee tonight. I thought it was going to be my first time there. When I walked in the door, I realized I had been there before. My best man took me there the night before my first wedding in California. Yes, I had two weddings. A legal one and a church one.
Back to my story. Tonight, Kristina and I saw Stephan Oberhoff with an excellent band including: Sandro Albert, Enzo Todesco, Katisse Buckingham and Cassio Duarte. Also, there was a female singer (don't remember her name) and my wife's best friend's husband, Ken Stacey. They wowed the crowd. I must go back.
I really want to go back and see Marco Mendoza. That's who I saw my first time there over five years ago. He is still there on a regular basis. No pun intended, but you music lovers might know he plays bass(es). He has a trio with a keyboardist and drummer. Last time, I was blown away by his ability on the six-string bass. I'm sure he is still amazing.

I think the female singer's name was Natalie Rene.
