My last evening...
It hit me about 30 minutes ago that this is my last official evening school activity as District A/V Specialist and Auditorium Manager for Beavercreek City Schools.
I still have two more morning activities for finals and a full Sunday of a rental dance recital. Then all I have to do is clean up around here and train the high school principals how to run the auditorium and train another person how to program and run the cable access channel...then I'm done.
This is never a job that I sought out to do or dreamed about, but it has been my longest ever. That says a lot about me and the journey that I've taken while I've been here. It's been the farthest from what I really wanted to do, but helped me to realize that I really do want to do what I want to do.
I got some great advice a few years ago about deciding and settling on a career path. When you can't do anything else, but that one thing...that's when you know it is meant to be and you will truly be happy and successful.
