Rainy Saturday Spoiler

Here I sit in the garage with my laptop and wireless internet connection. No one is coming to our garage sale...why not? It's Saturday, people shouldn't have anything better to do. Maybe cause the weather sucks. It's not that cold, just drizzle. I hate that...either stop or full-out rain. We bought 80 hot dogs to grill and sell. So far we've sold none of those. If you are reading this on Saturday, May 31st and you are able...come by mention this blog and I will throw in a free hot dog and soda. Yawn.

Sad Goodbyes

Even when leaving someplace is good. You still have made some friends there and have to say goodbye.

As I get older I appreciate that fact more. I was watching a video from High School last night and realized how out of touch I was with what were close friends.

I guess I'm saying "don't take people for granted even though how and where you met might be history to you."

Making up for lost time

Aside from my last post, I haven't been keeping up with my online journal here lately. I feel like a bad geek. Gotsta get back into my weblog habbit.

I probably will ramble on multiple times tonight. I've had so much to say, but have been holding back until all my ducks are in a row.

Garage Selling

Well, today was our first day of our Garage Sale. We made 123 bucks...which isn't bad for about 4 hours work. That isn't counting the time we put in cleaning the garage, sorting through junk and clothes.

If we can sell everything, we'll be sitting pretty for our move with plenty of cash to hire the moving company. I'd much rather do that than rent a U-haul.

I'm now officially broke...

My wife and I bought a new 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer yesterday. I am very excited as this is my first new car. Unfortunately, I won't get to drive it very much...yet. I'll be driving the 1996 Chrysler Concorde. At least the stereo is better.
